Bought 20th November 2006 I had been searching all over the place for a good steering wheel for a GS2. I'd be unlucky for so long I'd given up all hope. Then one day I read in the local paper of a Devon for sale. I grabbed the phone in double quick time. After a rather breathless conversation with the owner we were on our way to town with our car trailer in tow... just in case! Anyway, upon arrival, my brother snorted in disgust. My father frowned a little with concern, but I went straight for the drivers door, and, after wrenching it open, I breathed a sigh of relief. The Steering wheel was perfect! Hurrah! Everything else didn't matter. I just had to have the steering wheel regardless of anything else - even price! Topping it off was the unusual "wings" logo in the centre of the horn push. Gosh!!!
And agreement was finally bought about, then the problem of loading began. Simon, my younger brother backed our Holden station wagon up, and after unhooking the car from the draw bar we towed (with a rope) the Austin up onto the trailer. Then it was "Home James and don't spare the Horses!"

This is the car after we pushed it out into the open before loading onto our trailer

Take notice of the steering wheel and the horn push. Aren't they wonderful?
